CEBS Compliance credit

CEBS graduates can use Symposium session to earn CEBS compliance credit. Each 50-minute hour of education qualifies for 1 credit of compliance. The $25 service fee to report credit for other professions does not apply. Visit www.cebscpe.org for more information. 


The 2018 Symposium qualifies for up to 19 CEBS compliance credits.

Investments and Wealth Institute® has accepted the 37th Annual Employee Benefits Symposium for 16.5 hours of CE credit. Approved sessions.

HRCI

The 2018 ISCEBS Symposium has been approved for 16.0 HR (General) recertification credit hours toward a PHR™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™ recertification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®).

Any HRCI questions can be directed to HRCI 1-866-898-4724 or view website policies www.hrci.org/recertify. Questions may also be directed to the Society’s Continuing Education department.

 

The use of this seal confirms that this activity has met HR Certification Institute’s® (HRCI®) criteria for recertification credit pre-approval.

SHRM

The International Society is a preferred provider with SHRM. The Symposium is approved for 16.0 PDCs; you may use this credit towards your CP and SCP designations.

CPA

ISCEBS is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.

In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE sponsors, CPE credits will be granted based on a 50-minute hour.

CFP

CFP® (United States)

The International Society is registered with the CFP Board as a sponsor of continuing education (Sponsor ID 286).  A list of sessions qualifying for credit will be published here as they are available. The 2018 Symposium will be submitted for approval upon request. Approved sessions.

CFP®  (Canada)

CFP Professionals are required to attest to the completion of their CE requirements for the calendar year specified on the annual Application for Financial Planning Standards Council™ (FPSC) License Renewal Form. At time of renewal CFP professionals will not be required to submit CE supporting documentation. FPSC relies on the CFP professional to self-asses and maintain appropriate documentation for their CE activities. You will only be required to submit supporting documentation if selected for an audit.

 

IRS Enrolled Agents & Enrolled Retirement Plan Agents

The International Society is an approved IRS continuing education provider.
The 2018 Symposium was approved by the IRS for 19.0 credits under the category of "Qualified Retirement Plan Matters".
Approved audience: Enrolled Agents (EA)/Enrolled Retirement Plan Agents (ERPA) 

IRS CE is mandatory for EAs and ERPAs only.

Attorneys

State CLE credit approvals are based upon requests for credit received on registration and CE attendance forms.  The 2018 Symposium qualified for a maximum of 960 minutes of MCLE instruction.  Recommended sessions.

Canadian Insurance Professionals

Life insurance agents can earn credit in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, and Saskatchewan. The program will be submitted to Quebec for approval (upon request) after the program has taken place.

The 2018 Symposium will be submitted to the Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) as requests are made.

2017 Approvals
The Manitoba Insurance Council approved the 2018 Symposium for 16 Life and/or A&S education hours.

The Alberta Insurance Council accredited the 2018 Symposium for 16 Life, Accident & Sickness, General (P&C) continuing education hours.
